low boost in 4th gear?
Hello all,
My apologies if this topic has been discussed before. This anomaly has been ocurring for the past two days.
From stop, if I WOT, shifting at around 5000-6000 RPM or so, I get normal boost patterns (up to approx. 0.9BAR/13.5PSI) UNTIL I hit 4th. Once I'm in fourth, I get very little boost--no stuttering, popping, or bucking, just low boost. Then, when I shift to 5th, my boost reads 0.9BAR again.
It's odd. I only get the low boost in 4th if I am accelerating hard from stop. Under light acceleration, general cruising, or if I drop from 5th to 4th gear, I get normal boost in 4th gear if I punch it. Seems odd doesn't it?
Does anyone have any ideas on this? There have been no other engine oddities I can think of. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I jumped to conclusions without fully testing the situation. After searching through similar threads, I've learned that I am loosing all my boost during and after the primary->secondary transition. Where exactly this is coming from, I'm still looking. Could be the CRV or some other vacuum tube underneath the intake plenum. I'll learn soon enough.
Thanks to all who replied... (crickets chirping)
Seeing now what I wrote two weeks ago, I feel like an ***. It's just as my mom used to tell me: "Use your eyes, not your mouth!"
Cheers!
