Just get a 52mm pod and file it down using a knife or something similar:

Watch out with some of the gauge pods. I just bought one from rotary performance.com for my greddy boost 60mm and my greddy egt 52mm and the boost gauge doesnt fit. Its not that I cant get the gauge into the pod its that the pod doesnt fit on the side trim with the gauge in. If anyone has a greddy gauge please let me know what pod you are using. This is for an fc by the way.

I actually had almost the same problem... I ordered the gauges at the same time as the pod and wasn't too happy when I realized I f***ed up. I actually got the APEXi 60mm's to fit though. Check out:

It's the Tripower 52mm gauge pod bored out to 60mm. And yes, I know I'm post-whoring... I'm just damn proud that I got it to work!

you need to post ***** some more with a pic of that thing inside the car... just set it up there and snap a pic for us.

I was just hopping online to order one but will wait to see what it looks like inside seeing as how you already have one.

Heading up to the shop right now... I'll at least put it in so you guys can see it mounted. Now if only dealing with the auto-tranny and a Haltech was so easy.

Ask and ye shall recieve... sorry I wasn't able to get this up yesterday... the Forum seemed to have been down every time I tried.

Oh, and pardon the dust, the car's been in the shop a while.

John, guess you're keeping the pillar mount-I guess the single is not as bad as my dual.
I saw on the forum that jason at rx7store has them but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I wanna get the gauges and pod from one place that way I don't have to chop it up like you did. Second, had a couple of other things on my wish list. Anyone else got them besides tri-power or rx7store?

-chad

PS: anyway no rush-I got wheel fitment problems to work on.

Chad-
Thanks! That's kinda why I was so determined to make it work, I really wanted to make everything match.

I've never had a real problem with my single pod... aside from trying to get the new inspection sticker in yesterday. I guess I've got it mounted low enough to be out of the way.

I have no idea who's pod that is, since I got it at the local Honda/Toyota tuner shop. (trying to get rid of all their Mazda stuff)

You might check out RB though, don't remember if they had anything or not, and they seem to have everything else ever made for RX-7's.

Thanks John, but I got it at a local tuner here w/gauges. A little pricey but I have to admit it's a damn nice piece mounted with gauges.

btw, The local rx7 guy said that tripower is working a new type of sleek light kit. Do know anything about this? are there any pics of it on the forum somewhere?
