SSR Professor SP-1 18x10.5 and 18x12 fitment photos

I have a few customers asking about the SSR Professor SP-1 and how it looks on a car. These rims are very popular among the Japanese racing circuit due to the wide variety of sizes and offsets you can choose from for any kind of custom fitment.

For the project car, we use 18x10.5 for the front with 275-35-18 tires and 18x12 for the back with 335-30-18 tires.

Enjoy the photos.

Now thats what I'm talking about!

Where and how much do those wheels cost? What was the offset you used front/rear?

Very nice fitment!

I imported them directly from Japan. I will set up a page on my website with prices within a couple of days. In the mean time, you can email me at rotaryextreme@aol.com for price quote.

The offsets I used are not for standard fitment. I use them with the widebody kit. Front is +43mm. and the back is +24mm.

Thanks for the compliment.

I was going to fit 18x12 in the front as well. After I test fit, the wheels are too wide and the tire diameter is too big. It hits the fender well when I turn. That's why I have an extra pair of 18"x12" for sale on the web and for cheap too. Anyone wants to take them off my hands?

Thanks. I can't let you have all the fun so I gotta get some crazy rims too.

The 18x12 weighs about 24 lbs. I didn't get a chance to weigh the 18x10.5.

The current widefender I have is not wide enough to accomodate the 18x12. I had to raise the car so I don't damage the fenders. Right now the car looks more like a 4x4 so I prefer not to post the photos. I will post more photos when the full carbon fiber widebody kit is finished on the car. Thanks.

Looks like I am getting 17x10.5" front (5.5"backspace) -8mm offset, and 17x11.5 rear (5.75" backspace) -13mm offset. Probably 315s up front(if they fit), 335s rear.

Still haven't put on the new bodykit but here is a pic.

The offset for the front is +45mm and for the back is +24mm. You CANNOT use those on stock body 3rd gen RX7.
