solenoid for 2nd fuel rail

at the end of the primary fuel rail
they had a solenoid looking like with the green connector same as water temp.
i think it's a solenoid to let fuel go to 2nd fuel rail
but i am not sure, it could fuel press or something
do i need to hock it up to a 12v source?
i could it any about it in the microtec manual.
btw i think fd3s same them too

thanks
any help?idea?,?

i don't know if it a emission/poultion, they built it in to the fuel rail
i think both fd3s and cosmo 20b/13bre are have them
so if i know it, i could hook all the wires right one time.

it couldn't be a fuel solenoid now,
that thing is in the mid of the primary fuell rail
maybe it's the fuel temp, the water temp has the same
green connector just like it.

oh well guess i just have to find it out later on

i'm no 3rd gen expert so don't quote me on this but it wouldn't surpise me if it is a fuel temp sensor that is used by the evaporative emissions system - fuel temperature will driectly affect pressure in the system so the computer can probably use that as a correction factor to the fuel maps at some point. this is just a WAG, may help asking someone in the 3rd gen section. i know for sure that you don't need it for the microtech to run the car.
