Broke a sway bar bracket!!!(pics)
Racing Beat sells some kinda upgraded ones with this bar that goes from one to another for support, and at least one other company does them. Those from Racing Beat came in Mazda factory packaging, but were better built then those off of my 94. Instalation was pretty straight forward, just unbolt the sway bar brackets, unbolt the mounts (which you broke) and keep the radiator from moving too much (it probably won't, the lower main hose should hold it), then bolt on the new mounts, hold the support bar in place and bolt the swar bar brackets up. Everything went together well for me, and having non-broken sway bar mounts definently helped the handling. It has been over a year since I did this, and they have worked well for me. Josh
Oh yeah, sorry, RB sells a support bar for the sway bar, its just a flat piece of metal powdercoated white that goes from sway bar mount to sway bar mount, and is bolted in place between the sway bar and the mounts. Josh
Links please??? I found this one at the RX7 Store but I dont need a whole new sway bar.

I think racingbeat.com or maybe racing-beat.com has them. But, depending on cost, you might want to go with the SR Motorsports, they could be stonger, I don't really know. Josh

Yes, you will still need the brackets (mounts). I actually bought them from mazdatrix.com, sorry about that, but I did get the RB support bar, and I like it. I think srmotorsports.com is the other site, you can check those out, and I think there is another company making them, but I don't recall the name. Josh
I don't think you should just weld them. They are kind of prone to breaking, plus the have been on the car for about ten years and if they break again, you'll have to go through the ordering process and have to deal with poor handling under hard cornering for a while. But thats just my opinion, its your call in the end. Josh
get the widefoot version, they are very solid, a definet upgrade from teh stock ones, they are ment to handle track type forces and not destroy the frame of teh car like the stock ones tend to do.

Widefoot mounts are great.
If you don't want to spend the $$ for the Widefoot mounts the factory mounts have been changed. They are $25 each new from Mazdaspeed Motorsports.

sway bar brackets
The Mazdatrix upgrade are a lot stronger than the stock and are not a expensive as the Widefoot. I also have the Racing Beat sway bar brace--- sitting under my work bench with the end broken off. When the stock bracket broke, the RB brace broke along with it.

THANKS ALOT GUYS!
Hey Jeff,
How did the stock ones change? Are they much more beefier? Mine are bent backwards and I need to get new ones and not sure if I need a brace to go along with it. Thanks,

Widefoot mounts are being sold by David Breslau. I have these mounts mounted on my car and they are simply great. I got mine for around $280 or something.
You can reach David through dbreslau@ContinuumPhotonics.com
I would recommend these if you plan on doing track days (I do
