Lightbulb Replace with softer springs or add helper springs?

I have JIC SF1's with 10F/8R but current recomendation is 10/7. I don't think switch the rear 8's for 7's would be worth the money. I was thinking of going to 8/5's to get back the soft touring feel. I will do weekend track in the future but it's mostly a street perfomance car. My compression/rebound is "not" adjustable so I can't just soften the shocks. The other option is to add helper springs 1.6's or 2.1's. I want it to be luxary sports car not Nascar. Although if I could get it to vibrate, then the girls wouldn't complain. So what's the best choice?

I can't make out the pricing on the helper springs. Either they are priced in pairs or a set of four. If in pairs, then they are the same price as the full size springs. So are they evn worth it? Does anyone have any experience with helper springs?

JIC recently redesigned the FLT-A2 by adding a helper spring on the rears for the FC. Although the ride felt more comfortable, it also felt a lttle too bouncy for me. I sent mine back because no one was told they changed them, and they messed up their calculations. It wouldn't lower enough in the rear.
