Stout FD Hood in Carbon - 56k beware

This one fits just as good as the FRP version as you can see.. It has a (black) FRP frame and the carbon upper. It has a really nice tight weave and smooth finish - Dare I say nicer than the Top Secret JZA80 hood I just got in? I dare! It is much nicer actually. It has a black matte finish at the edges of the vents, which I have seen on a couple of manufacturers hoods from japan (Veilside, Varis,et al). At first I didn't like it, but now I do after seeing it in the sun. Will definitely need hoodpins as it is light and even at <50mph I can see it move a little on the left side - Hey our bump stops are non adjustable! - no freeway for me until the hoodlocks come in.

Nice hood, i like mine better though, its the knightsport vented hood. Are those Yokohama advan tires i see on the FD in the pic, i have a set of advan tires on mine and i wouldnt go with any other tire for the car.

Looks great. Although I'd go with black mesh in the front.

Ya, A032R's on the front and AVS Intermediates on the back 245/45-16 all around (heh easy drift ) The A032R is an awesome tire. I think Im gonna try the Kumho Victoracers all around next time tho to get a comparison. I'd import some A048's from Japan but they don't come in a 245 width.. 225/45-16 is the only 16 I think, and I dont wanna sacrifice 80mm of contact patch for a J-spec tire
