yo yo, i picked up my first TII today. I got it from a guy around here who owns a shop. first thing i gotta say is daaamn, what the hell was i doing modding and working on my NA. This car would smoke my NA soo bad its rediculous. I was just out looking to make my first kill and i found a prelude. I was pacing along side of him and i didn't think he'd actually go for it, but sure enough he started revvin at me and everything. So i go to second at about 45ish and wait for him, he hits it and i hit it too just to ****** embarass him in front of his girlfriend sitting in the passenger seat. By the end of third i had about 3 or 4 cars on him. haha. I really love the way this car runs and i'll post picks when i get them.

it was actually still running on the stock pump so i was only running 11 psi at the time.. i just ordered a 255lph walbro online and i got a recalibrated air fuel guage for it too

oh yeah, its got 20 k miles on turbo and 20 k on a mazda factory rebuild motor...

by the way, is anyone here familiar with the hks additional injector and controller and its tuneability? the extra injector is mounted on the elbow right before the throttle body. I was thinking about taking it off along with the hks piggyback and then going haltech. As for now, i am gonna leave it for a bit just to see how things go, its running real strong and smooth right now so i don't see any urgent reason to take it off just yet..

 

yea i just an rx7 too and i aint cut her loose yet cuz their be snow on the ground up here in new york and i dont wanna **** up the body... but hey when i do take her out im sure to toast some of hte lcal rice boys wit their civics and preludes hahaha cant wait......

yeah, after i mopped the floor with that prelude, he was driving around and he parked next to me and asked me if i was turbo.......wtf? does he not see the "turbo II" on the side? oh well... I said yeah i am and there was a long pause and then he was like " what is that ?" and i told him it was a rx-7 and i don't think he had any idea what it was... then he challenged to race me for money with some 66 mustang or something that is uninsured and he only takes out to race and i didn't have to think twice about saying no to that one..

Nice car man. I love racing idiots who have no idea about our cars. When I was pushing 230 to the wheels on my n/a people would always ask me how big my turbo was or how much PSI I was running. I would always sort of chuckle and tell them I was a N/a. I love to see people's mouth's drop. I would just get in my car, start it up, hum to the mack truck sized weed wacker it sounded like with the porting and calmly take off. People are dumb sometimes, and most of the time you just have to deal with it. Sounds like a mint car though man.

I hate you...you stole the car before I could test drive it...I saw it for sale at that shop a 2 weeks ago...I know I couldn't afford it but still a test drive...you need to give me a ride in it...or let me drive it once!

Since you couldn't give me a ride because its not insured, registed, or have the proper paper work yet I could understand why...but get all that before this weekend and lets burn some rubber...Also how about you swap hoods with me--"Just do it"...

P.S. how'd you like that cop that raced the kid with the civic---twice at that!! Now I've seen it all!!

the car is set up as a sleeper as you will see, you can't even tell there has been any mods to it from the outside, look at how the front mount is hidden with a little red paint! haha..
