Next Generation In Dash Fully Integrated Boost Gauge Update
Here is a pic of my latest version. I did not get too much response from you RX folks so I moved on, I have done The Passat 1.8T, Golf and Jetta,s along with the audi S4 and 300zx so far. I need a doner car to test and I am in Mission Viejo California, let me know via email if you are interested. An RX guy made some comments on the Clubb5.com posting we did so I thought I would post one more time here.

It's a very nice idea, and an EXCELLENT implementation by the looks of it, but I think I prefer an analog guage rather than digital....
Digital is great for values that are relatively steady, like speed, but for something that is bouncing around a lot, do you feel that you get the same feedback?

test car
I'm in Chatsworth, CA 91311 ... (LA)
PM me and I'll give you my phone number.
My car is out of commission until about next month. It would work out well. I.E. you would have time to fashion the gauge and I wouldn't have a reason to be impatient as my motor is being rebuilt ...

I'm also fairly handy with electronics. I may be able to lend a hand.

I have to agree ... how about 2 color LEDs? Say Green for Vacuum ... let it fall off to the left and then yellow for boost climbing to the right ... the last 5PSI of boost could turn red ... I'd have to think about the scale.
Maybe 20 (vac) to 20 (boost)?

Nice product. However, unless you can also add a vacuum reading, it wouldn't be too useful to FD owers. For us the vacuum reading can be just as important as boost reading.
