PDF template of my intake heat shield

Here is the much anticipated PDF template. Instructions are on the pdf. For it to work you need to print it from adobe acrobat (free reader on adobe's site) so that it tiles properly.

Damn dude, you really go all out with this stuff huh? I was expecting a photo of a cardboard template all crushed up on the ground while you use a point-n-shoot to take the pic with you feet in it and everything

hey, i remembered you talking about a back plate for the shield in another post...so i qiuickly threw one together and photoshopped in the holes that im goin to cut for the intake tubes. is this what you're talkin about?? tell me what you think....i trust your opinion whatever it maybe, i dont know anythin about air flow and such

damian, yeah, and it scoops air up from the gap between the radiator and throws it into the airbox hole (that you have to do yourself)

damiam, thanks for doing all of this for us. i have already made mine and installed it and it fit perfect!! now i am just waiting for my filters to arrive and i am done! i just have to say thanks again...i was giong to get the pettit intake and you saved me $300.

ahh man, that is great, I was waiting to hear from someone to see how the template worked, soo glad to hear it all fit well...saved some $$ too

what did you use to attach the 2 parts, rivets like i did ?

i did not have rivits so i just drilled 4 holes and used nuts and bolts...worked great. i am still looking for that black edging stuff...home depot did not have it.

yep, thats a good way to do it too

I got mine from checker auto, it had glue inside it so it sticks really well...
