Stock-looking boost guage

Heres my custom stock matching boost guage. I think its the closest thing to stock i've seen. This started out as a project to embed the digital readout from a cyberdyne digital water temp guage into the face of an analog boost guage, with a custom face. I actually had it 90% pulled off when i realized that those digital watertemp guages are basically christmas lights, and terribly innacurate. It was shelved in favor of a PFC w/ water temp monitoring from the commander.

Along the way, i modified the donor PFS/SPI guage by milling the lip off, polishing it, and covering it with a trimmed an painted autometer bezel. The exposed polished ring matched the stock rings perfectly (pics don't even do it justice) and covering it w/ the other bezel gives it the "set in" look of the stock. Enjoy:

Bro, that is pretty tight!!! I have the SPI gauges too and the black bezel is the only thing keeping them from looking "stock". With the milled part they look great!!

Wazzzup cowsniperRX7? I'm still waiting for my Defi D-Gauges to arrive from rx7store.net. I can't wait!! I'm gonna call Jason over there tomorrow to find out where they're at.

I am also using the DEFI gauges and they are the closest to stock appearing gauges I have ever seen.

The defi that i've seen look more like stock than mine in one respect: the needle. Maybe i can frankenstien this thing a bit more and borrow the Defi needle. I may make a custom face for it someday, or embed a shift light in it.
