Old-school Mazda's Japan style

Forgive me if this is a repost. But, this got posted recently on the Ausrotary forums (courtesy of Adsy01 ) and I thought some of you might want to check it out. All the text is in Japanese but it has a ton of great pics of 1st gens and other old-school rotaries. Just scroll through and enjoy.

Fantastic!! I've never seen so many amazing first gens before. Did you notice the 20B first gen on the 12th page I think it is?

Thanks

This is what I got Systran to translate for me.

This time, May 19th links the around the rear were taken a second look in order to aim for the superior time with the AW drug which is done. Because the original ., it is the traction insufficient SA, like this the considerable effect is expected also the small skill which is said.

The watt link central part is changed into the bearing. Like this when starting there is no excessiveness in the gap of hoe singing with the traction which catches with doing, because still the movement of the suspension can be utilized to the maximum, is. Because the central part is the bearing, when sinking, watt link moves smoothly. (Production KOME person)

Eh, and I thought size matters, when ports are concerned...

Here is the engine that those three tiny exhaust ports go too. If you not notice, it appears to have two dizzies. Which would make this an "old school" rotary engine. Pre-RX-7. Correct me if I am wrong people.

I've taken apart RX-2 12a's and they didn't have exhaust ports like that.

Yep, seems pre-RX-7. Nevertheless, I never saw such exhaust ports. Is it just me not knowing those things, or are they weird???

error402 I believe that the motor with the bizarre exhaust ports is a 10a. I couldn't make out for sure but it looked as though they might have been doing some crazy stuff to that motor, or atleast preparing it (pp perhaps?)

They are all weber 48 IDA carbs.

Notice that PP 20b on like the 20th page. It runs 1 weber that has been cut in half and only uses one side and then a whole nother 48 ida. Very cool. I bet that thing puts down some serious pwr.
