Turbo II Fuel Pump

My car is is in the process of being streetported, when I get it back I was wondering if I should put a turbo II fuel pump in it. Would that make it run to rich or maybe help it out a little bit? How much better does the turbo II pump flow compared to the NA in it right now?

IMO the T2 fuel pump sucks. If you are going to upgrade I would suggest you get a Walbro 255lph pump. It may make it run a little rich but its better to be rich than lean.

It is but nothing I would rely on. You can get a walbro for no more than $120 to your door.

Yeah but I have a turbo II one I got for free. I'm just asking if it's better then a stock NA fuel pump? I got it for free would it be worth putting it in my car? Any performance +'s?

Yea it flows more than an NA one. I am not sure on the numbers, but its better. That is a good idea instead of bigger injectors.

from what i have read, you really dont need it for a n/a.cj [pp13bnos or something like that]in the nw specific section put one on his fc and his conclusion was that it was really not needed-i think he ended up having to lean it way out with his s-afc.i have a well modded n/a,and if anything i'm running rich, not lean.i would say stick with the n/a pump.

I doubt very much if a turboii will make it run rich. I've put my turboii pump in my n/a, and have the same fuel rail pressure as with the n/a pump. The fuel pressure regulators on the fuel rail seem to me to be the same outfits. So my experience says that the turboii will not overcome the fpr and make it run rich. I'm attaching the specs for the turboii fuel pump and the n/a fuel pump. Both series four. Two posts to follow with jpg. Thats all I know about fuel pumps. No more.

If you can get one free....take it and put it in the car and observe your fuel pressure while driving the car under load.
