Thumbs up Project Kramer update with Pics!

I know it's been a while since I've done a real update on my Project "Cosmo" Kramer, so here it goes, with Pics and all. Progress is steadily improving..

I' am coming after ya Mike!! - J/K.

A Work of Art – Cosmo 13B-RE Intake.

Greddy Elbow (with Larger FD Throttlebody )

3 MSD 6AL's on custom made bracket (Tiiiiight fit) One Leading, Two Trailing.

Custom made MSD Ignition box Bracket. Using the rubber isolators too! I have to relocate the horns somewhere else though.

What MSD's? No MSD's here.

Crispeed Fuel Rail (-10AN)

Secondary Fuel Rail installed

Welded Bungs on Intake for Fuel Injectors. No Leaks here…

Racing Beat Oil Pressure and Temperature Adapter . I need to make a spacer for the third bolt.

A/C Electric Fan, turns on only when the A/C compressor is on.

J & S Knock Safeguard. Knock sensor on rear rotor.

Intercooler Test Placement.

Haltech E6K Placement. Those are Autometer EGT, and Fuel Pressure Senders on the left.

Spider Web. Several Gauges, lighting, additional wiring all over the place.

Additional Fuse Panel from Painless Wiring in glove box for easy access. The wiring of the Haltech and other goodies is totally independent of the stock wiring harness. All Color Coded, so there will be no surprises later. I have not spliced into the stock wiring harness at all, (so far, and hopefully won't have to…)

Profec B Boost Controller. Additional Fuse Panel is covered. All in the glovebox, Out of sight, yet easily reached.

Relocated Battery to Passenger Bin. Not presently strapped down. I had to cut out the rear of the bin for it to fit easier.

A Quickie of the interior. Still far from finished.

A Wider shot of the interior.

Another one.

I still need to install the Reverse Indiglo Gauges from S/R Parts

Did I mention that these things are simply BAD-***? And that Pictures do NOT do them justice?

G-Tech Competition. (lights up Indiglo Blue too )

Wide Angle Rear view mirror, to avoid blind spots. Radar Detector over it, Not that I need it..

Looking very, very good! Nice attention to detail.

A few kweshtins:

Izzit possible to locate the intercooler atop the engine as in the TII? The Mazda reason for doing so is less pressure drop that would be caused by longer plumbing.

Did the tri-gauge bracket I sent you arrive? If so, would you be willing to do a test fit with 3 gauges installed in the facia and snap a photo for me?

I over shot my budget by 2 thousand dollars, and took me 3-4 months longer than expected I made sure every bolt was tight, everything was perfect etc
Driveshaft had nothing to do with me, only 3 things someone else done that was the exhaust, the driveshaft and the turbo.. 2 out of the 3 Im having/had problems with...

Maybe that says somehting?

The large, black intercooler I am using has been proven to have less than .5lb of pressure drop, while having more cooling than many aftermarket intercoolers (Spearco, HKS, Apex'i, etc)

They did arrive, however, they arrived after I mounted the gauges and wired them all in, So I cannot take them out. I will send you a photoshopped pic using the gauges if you like.

Yep, he's right.

It is the large black one, after peeling the paint off with several steps. It is just mounted at an angle. I sold the smaller one I previously had.

Very Busy. However, If it was up to me only, I would work on it 24/7. Responsibilities suck.
