fresh from the body shop (pics)
I got my car back from the body shop yesterday!!!
No accident or anything...just wanted to freshen her up.
I had my guy at Carrazerria Fontana do ALL the minor dings and things...shave the rear wiper, shave the power antenna, shave the rear sprayer, and the Mazda emblem...
Then I had it painted jet black with fine pearl blue. 60/40 mix and then clear coated.
IT TURNED OUT AWESOME!!!
And the best part yet...it cost me a whopping 1700.00 euro. Thats about $1750.00!!! I love Italy!!!!!!!!

of course awesome car
I decided to just shave the antenna I think the rear wiper is kinda cool and I repainted my mazda rx7 logo chrome because I want people to know what kind of car it is exactly mazda deserves props big time.
I also need a new hood liner someone please tell us where to get one I'll even take a used one if it is in REALLY good condition or an upgraded on that says rx7 or something would be cool.
Do people in Italy freak out when they see your rx7?

True...Mazda deserves props for the 7...but I'm a little like Ezra Pound...if they're too ignorant, that's their problem.
Yes, people freak out when they see my car. I took it to a VW/Audi show on the beach in Lignano and BECAME the show. And it's not even "showy"...I just like it simple and clean. Can't imagine what they'd do with a true show RX-7.
Thanks everyoone for the comments
I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the price....$1750.00. I couldn't believe it!

Damn that looks really nice. I used to have a 85 Jeep CJ-7 with a color similar to that. The paint was a General Motors "black saphire". It was a metallic blue with a pearl flip to it. Awsome color choice ianewk and a good price as well damn wish there were bargins like that here in the states.

God, what a piece of crap. You should just give that car to me so I can drive it around and make sure that people understand it. You know, that's a killer paint job, and you've done a good job of keeping it up. I'm jealous of your paint job and the fact that you're in Italy, but man, that hood liner just RUINS IT. Just kidding. Awesome ride.

i have a question about the antenna thing. do you not get radio now?
very nice car. very clean. and i was unaware that you could get things shaved off. maybe something i will consider. do you have to get this done when a repaint is done?
