special check valves??

I just bought a 93 in pretty sorry shape. There are a lot of parts missing, especially in the vacuum system; all the vacuum check valves are missing. What I was wondering is, are the factory check valves special or can I use the generic check valves at the auto parts store?

check out MaxCooper's website, he installed one of the Help! check valves only to have it fail a short time later. Since you will only have to replace them once (ok, twice if you keep the car a LONG time), get the good quality OEM valves.

Be prepared for some sticker shock. Go to rx7.vvodoobox.net and then go to the vac line replacement page. Dave has the part numbers for the different check valves there.
