Cosmo Engines

Anybody out there running a 13B Cosmo engine in their car?

I will be shortly installing my '95 Cosmo 13B with a custom Turbo system into my GSL-SE. I know it basically an upgraded Third Gen engine with a different intake. Everything I am running is overkill, and I expect to make as much HP on the stock Cosmo ports as any Single (stock port) FD.

The reason I am asking is because I plan to make very good power with my setup. The only thing that concerns me is the exhaust sleeves that the Cosmo comes with. They look restrictive. No, I am not going to open it up just for the sleeves either. I'll wait till I port in the future if necessary.

I know Mazda always experimented with the
Cosmo engines, and my tuner actually says, "don't be suprised if it makes more power."

I just want to know who has a running 13B Cosmo engine in their ride, and how is the power levels.

Thanks!

Thanks Mike, I will try to contact him (again). He never responded when I previously emailed him about a month ago. I might have had the wrong email address.

I wonder if he Dynoed both ways as well?
