could you do this???

I was wondering if you could put in a RX8 trany into an fc? woould it work?

that's actually covered in the faq. the short answer is yes, but you'd loose top speed and mpg.

Final drive is the same

u just gain a gear somewhere in the middle

and the RX8 tranny is weaker...

I bet you could put an rx8 transmission into a corvette if you wanted to. The real question is, how much, how difficult, and the biggest of all, why bother?

If you have a TII you could use the renesis clutch on it and then you'd have to make a special mount and driveshaft, the shifter may come out in a different place too, not sure. Then you have to figure out the hydraulics.
