If it's been flooded, lots of stop and go driving, hot ambient temps, or 3000ish miles it likely needs an oil change.

With a rotary.. if you have to ask. just do it anyways. It will NEVER hurt to change the oil. unless you never change the filter along with it, but that is just common sense.

yeah +1 on that... if u have to ask... change it... dont be a dumbass and not change the filter to... just be sure to drain the oil
then take the filter off... if u dont... oil will go everywhere... so just change it!!!

If you don't know then change it. Then go with every 3k miles or 3 months. Some people say 5k for N/A's.

The same as every other car? Check your oil and see what colour/viscosity it is. If its black and sludgy, you'd think you would change it. Like My5ABaby said, just change it anyways to be safe.

4000km is fine (depending on your driving). You could change it every 200km if you wanted but it'd get a bit expensive. I think the Owner's Manual suggests 3,000 mi (4828 km).

Basic car maintenence dude... you really shouldn't have got an FC if you dont know basic car maintenance... but hey, you'll definitely learn... the hard way i'm afraid.

When the motor comes to a screaming halt, screeching and glowing from friction, you waited too long.

man... some idiot is gunna take that the wrong way...

"i dont have to change my oil for 5k miles!"

Lets not all forget that rotorys are oil injected... if you go 3k miles or 3 months... chances are your gunna be pretty damn low on oil... if not damn near empty.

I do overkill... either 2k miles.. or once a month. its like 13 bucks, thats not much.

Hell, I was just going to tell the guy to change it when it turns black.
Rule of thumb is to change oil every 3,000 miles.
