Beautiful car man...I see you have exceptionally low mileage on it. Is that all stock or no? I don't see anything too obvious, but still some people like stealth like me .

for performance modifications only things are SS brake lines and tokico illumina 5 way adjustables.

I just finished doing a oil change over the weekend and gave her a nice wash and wax.

Nice, just dampers or do you have springs too. It looks a bit low in one of the pictures. Also I see a drilled rotor through the wheel, did you buy that or did you get them with that?

Pretty!

I have the same dent (less damage to the trim) due to a jackass in a parking deck...

The tokicos are just adjustable stiffness, not height adjustable.
The drilled rotors came on the car stock as I was told.
The dent was there when I bought the car but to me isnt all that noticable. I plan to get it pulled and touched up in a while.

Thanks for the compliments all.

I was seriously considering doing a t2 swap but finding all the parts necessary seemed a bit difficult. It is still in the back of my mind. Does anybody have a ballpark figure for the full swap? Also how difficult is it to do by myself? So far I have done everything to the car myself and think I am capable.

Other than doing a t2 swap I thought about porting but it seemed like a waste to open up such a low mileage engine that pulls so strong.

bump

I plan on getting the racing beat duals (catback) and possible a racing beat streetable header. I want to leave the stock cat in as it is not burned out yet.

How do you think this will sound? I know I have to have a section welded on to compensate for the gap. I plan to have this setup until my cat starts clogging and at that point I will get a bonez hi flo.

What do you guys think?

I think the only thing missing is a thorough cleaning of the engine bay...then it will be even sweeter

Yea I havent got around to that yet.

Any suggestions on products that arent abrasive to the materials in the engine bay?

Or did you mean "clean" as in taking out unnecessary things such as A/C and power steering?

I am looking to do some more weight reduction... I have already taken off about 20-30 lbs of sound deadening material and carpet. I think I will need the AC since its getting pretty warm in the city now.

I just meant clean as in 'remove dirt'.

What I did is buy engine degreaser, like GUNK etc.
Spray the stuff all over the COLD engine bay.
Wash it off with a low pressure hose.
Start car and let it dry.

Then I used this Engine Finish spray stuff to make everything all shiney!

Nice 7.

Look at the Mazda Trix true duals. You'll get more hp N/A with true duals.

I live in ca so emissions for me are a must. I high considered them but from some posts I have read the true duals sound like a crazy weedwacker which I dont want.

Seems a bit high for a full exhaust system but the gains are very impressive. I have read all the threads regarding the true duals and cannot yet commit myself to putting that much money into an exhaust system and getting rid of all emissions.

1987rx7guy can jump in and try to convince me otherwise.

nery nice car, makes me miss my red s5 NA.

Now about the t2 swap, your car is VERY nice, if I were you I would be buying all the parts to do the swap. It would be a lot eiser to buy all the parts over time, as good deals pop up, than wait till your engine pops and try to find them all at once for a fair price.
