The steering wheel puller is not needed. Make sure to disconnect the battery. You don't want the airbag exploding on your face.

What about the airbag light? What do you do to defeat it?

How much is this adapter and where can it get it? And do you all think that momo is this best for the money?

I'm using the Momo Club 4 steering wheel with the Momo hub. The Momo hub is cheaper than the Mazdaspeed. I don't have any problems with the airbag light and my horn works.

For people using the momo adapter in their FDs, what size of a resistor did you use to disable the air bag?

I think Miata.net has a good right up for this.

I've got another question about the Momo adapter.

I've got one in my car to go along with the wheel. I pulled the airbag computer, so I'm not concerned about the resistor, but...

How do you hook up the horn?

With the cruise and airbag gone, there's, what, one black wire coming up out of the column, and you attach it to the hub. You wire up the little horn button deal, and that's as far as I've got.

My mech told me there was more wiring I needed to do, but he was in a hurry so I couldn't get more information out of him when were talking about it. He said I needed a curly-cue style wiring cord (and suggested I scavenge one off a test light or something), and it needed connecting up, but didn't say which ends to what.

Anybody got the info?

Bring back an old thread in hopes of finding out something..

with the steering wheel and hub install require you to get rid of the steering column? I have the column mount boost gauge and like it there so I was just wondering if I had to can that.

You don't have to get rid of the steering column - that stays there.
