i wonder why when I tell the the tuners that I have the nippondenso they all smirk and snicker.
everyone running high power uses the expensive pumps...the low end nippondenso is good for around 390 hp...you need one that will support the mods you plan on running.

my twins are at 65k and i know they'll be running for a while. I know I'll have to get another pump when I go single, I pretty much just wanna have one that would efficiently supply fuel while I max out the twins. Do bosch even make one and where can I find it? I'm debating between the walbro, supra, and the bosch. thanks.
Does anyone here have PERSONAL experiences with walbro pumps failing on them?

i have read that the walbro is the least powerful of the bunch....and the supra to be the best....when upgrading why limit yourself with something that is only marginally better. i am getting a pump soon too i think the nipendenso that rx7store sells is thew supra one...thats the one i will use.

I'm currently using the Nippondenso with a Pineapple Large Streetport & GT35/40 @ 17psi... around 500rwhp according to my traps and Blitz Powermeter. I think I'm at the limits of this pump, although I'm not leaning out at the top of the rpm spectrum (9000rpm for me).
Working on a dual intank pump setup... Does anyone MAKE a dual intake pump setup (Brackets, etc) already?

The Denso/Supra pump will work just fine, those guys are running small singles on their Supras with the stock pump and making close to 500rwhp with it. I have used Walbros on a couple of Supras as well with good results, they flow very well until you get into really high fuel pressures.. I ran a Walbro with a 60-1 @20psi with no problems.

Was at the track, had the revlimiter set to 8500, kept hitting it because the car was pulling so strong still...

Get the Supra turbo pump. Good for 500 hp (on a supra) and I called a toyota salvage yard and got mine (off a '98) for $95.00 plus shipping. Dave @ KD tested it before installing.... its a direct bolt-in replacement for your stocker.

You're right, size does matter in terms of fuel pump flow.. but going out and buying the huge Apexi fuel pump, or some 1000HP SX pump is ridiculous for his mods and a total waste of $$$.

i am running a single, but still think it *may* be a tad overkill. this pump is like a small tank! i have about $1000 invested in the fuel system. between the pump, custom primary and secondary rails, injectors, guage, FPR, lines and AN fittings...and then changing it twice ontop of all that (dont know what the actual cost of what i am still using is.) has left me .... ummm.... with a lot less cash. on the bright side, i think i am DONE upgrading my fuel system for a good long time now.

Honestly,
Why would you go cheap on a fuel pump? Saving $100 might cost you alot more in the end if it fails. Do you want to risk that?
Nippon Denso parts last forever and are known for that. They are stock parts on Hondas, Toyotas and alot more which are very reliable cars. We also know that Toyota did not go cheap/unrealiable on the Supra.
Supra TT ND pump will be the best bet.

.Chris Ott has told me many times that the pump they sell had been dyno tested on their drag car up to ~500rwhp. I also believe that the pump is an OEM Supra pump. Check out rx7.com fuel upgrades.
