Mystery wires next to ECU...
I really have never found any info on this so sorry that I don't have a pic of this, but I am curious to the function of this wire I found next to the ECU.
Model: 1988 Turbo II
ECU: N333
Location: The two wires sits on the floor to the right of the ECU. It runs into what looks like a very small resistor pack covered in a rubbery brown sheath.

If the two wires are green/black and blue/orange, it's a diode. It's there so that the ECU can operate both the ASV and the FPR solenoid together (Hot Start Assist System) or the power steering relay can operate the ASV on it's own. Look on page 50-25 of the FSM wiring diagram, top right corner, connector EM-10.
