Very nice, I love that IC. BTW any info on what your intake temps were before w/ the PFS intercooler and after with the CWR? I would love to do a comparison with what the intake temps on my Blitz fmic are.. I smell a new thread.

Air intake temps per PFC peak hold value running 12psi boost on the long course at VIR last fall (ambient temps near 85deg*F*) I was seeing air intake temps near 100deg*C*. I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to get some new data to support my switch from the PFS "system" to the CWR "system"

pomanferrari,
I remember as to how to polish the plenum whew well.... a drill, sanding disks starting at 150 grit or whatever is necessary to remove the rough finish, work your way down to 350 grti then 600 as a final before polishing then use either a red or black polishing stick with a good buffer. Be prepared to spend A LOT of time and have some sore muscles.

Chris,

I must say you might have the world record for time spent installing an IC and intake

The end result is stunning though, as to be expected of the Crispy Mobile.

I wish I could stop working on customer cars and get back to that fun fabrication intensive install stuff on my car.

everybody is doing the torque brace now it seems, btw your engine bay is beautiful, i like to see when guys can actually do the work to their car and it actually looks good. i know too many that work on their car and it works and looks like ****

Great engine bay...I'm quite jealous.

But on the topic of CWR IC ducts, is that your own duct or from Duane?

I too haven't received my duct and don't really expect to get one. I have been forced to modify the stock duct and use some sheet metal as shielding--quite ugly, but more importantly it is not as effective.

Actually yes I enjoy working on my car just as much as I do driving it It's a stress releiver and I find it very rewarding. But it comes and goes. I drive it for 3 months then feel a need to tinker. I tinker for 3 months then feel a strong need to drive it again Currently I'm in a driving kinda mood
