Starter/ignition problems

Not shure if this is the right forum, but...

I have an 87' RX7 Turbo 2. Im shure most of you know the general electrical problems the Rx can bring (ie. horn doesnt work sometimes, wiper switch failures, etc.).

Yesterday I had problems starting my car. Rather, it wouldnt start at all. I noticed my engine didnt turn as I turned the ignition. At first I thought it might have been my battery, but when I went for a boost, that didnt work. I knew the battery was ok because the radio and lights were all working fine with the key in accessory.

Could there be a problem with my starter solenoid? Or quite possibly the ignition being stuck?
This has happened b4, but it worked again shortly thereafter.

Im not much of a mechanic, so I dont want to be foolin' around under the hood.

Can anyone shed some light?

Probably loose battery cable at the starter.

Also check the big ground wire that's connected at the clutch slave.
