New bushings and still a clunking noise in rear of the car

I have new bushings , so I don't know what the problem is. When my car has been parked for a few hours or more, when i go to start it and I start to move away, I can hear a "clunking or popping" type sound coming from the rear of the car. It sounds like something is swaying back and forth or something. Does anyone know what this could be?

"if pro is the opposite of con, is progress the opposite of congress?"

you're going to need to provide more information. Which bushings did you replace?

The rear anti-sway bar end links are prone to breaking. Check those. For other possible causes, see my web site, and go to: How-to --> Misc --> Suspension Troubleshooting.

Cheers,

Steve

Check your Toe links and your trailing arms I am almost sure they are bad mine were shot at 40K
I did all the rear bushings total of six and replaced my toe links and trailing arms with M2... All my noise is gone.
