Clocked my GTUs converted car!! for all you 1/4 analyzers out there

Aside from my GTUs tranny and rearend my mods are:

Pineapple racing sleeves (cleaned and working ports)
Apexi Dual N1
Apexi Intake
Racing Beat Header and Presilencer
Pontiac Fiero E-fan

Run: 60FT 1/4@mph
1 2.360 15.979@87.21
2 2.280 15.900@87.23
3 2.376 16.247@83.76 (tried shifing into 4th)
4 2.367 15.922@87.35
5 2.329 15.873@87.73
6 2.263 15.846@87.36
7 2.362 15.806@88.00
8 2.311 15.764@88.03

By the 7th run I realized i could get a higher MPH by shifting run when the buzzer goes on instead of before it.

And yes i know i need to work on my 60ft.

Get rid of the shitty exhaust and put a single collected straight through system on. No cats, no presilencer, just 2.5 inch pipe all the way back to one straight through muffler and you will pick up a half a second in the quarter. Cost you maybe....50 bucks to have a shop aluminized steel pipe it up in to place? Have fun...

no, single exhaust wouldn't do that much. Probably would shave off a 1/10 at max just because of the weight reduction.

Get better at launching and you'll get to the low 15's. You should be able to get a 2.0 60' time if you launch well.

I think I need to borrow some different tires to get a better launch.

Good to see that we're kind of in the same ballpark. I need to get my 6 ports working...

didn't realize you were waiting for me to respond. However now that I have been drawn into this discussion, good job. Nice times, but you still can't compete with turbo. Give me a call when you wanna hook up that SAFC.
