follow the pictures.. thats what i did pretty easy to install... YOu have to cut the stock radiator mounts and put on the custom mounts they have so you can repostion your radiator to sit vertically.. Good luck to you. try contacting blitz for english instructions.. My friend got english instuctions from them on the blitz sbc controllers.

Yep, taking your time and interpreting the pictures gets you most of the way there. Creativity will take you home. If you have specific questions about stuff in the instructions, let me know.. I'm bored at work and can go through some of the stuff with you.

I though the Fluidyne would still sit in somewhat of a stock position, so it will get mounted vertically? I contacted Blitz and they said they dont have the software or some **** to send me US instructions.

Yep, it's definitely more vertical that the stock location. The intercooler is going to be sitting up front now. Dnd don't sweat it about the instructions. Remember that all of the brackets are stamped with part numbers, and these are in the instructions. Just budget yourself a weekend to do it and don't get frustrated.

You'll need a sharp hacksaw, or a pneumatic cut-off tool to cut the radiator mounts.

You'll have to have your AC system evacuated first.. (The shop should give your your R-12 back to you when you're ready to fill it up.)

Go get a few gallons of distilled h20, and some coolant.

If you have a tube bender for 1/2" tube, that'll come in handy for bending the large AC line. I used 2 large (23mm) box wrenches.

Don't forget to bleed your radiator first, before you start the car up. It's easier to do it right, while it's cold, than it is to fight with it once it's hot.

You do have a smaller battery, right?

OK my new ? is the mount that the radiator is on right now has two bolts. Those 2 bolts are on really super tight. Do I have to cut this mount. It is the mount that holds the radiator, the radiator has a little rubber piece connecting it to the mount. So How do I get that off. Alsodo I just bend the exsiting bracket to get the new radiator to sit more vertically, or does my Blitz IC come with new brackets for the IC? Oh and yea I have a smaller battery ( hawker ) thanks for the help Newbernd keep the suggestions coming!!!

Blitz FMIC

The 2 rubber grommet just sit on the stock mount, push it and they will fall right out.

Blitz FMIC kit comes with radiator relocation brackets, but will come short for your Fluidyne, so you would need to somehow make your own bracket or extend them.

Actually, I don't think you'll need new lower brackets. My Koyo fit fine in the lowers (and it's thicker than the fluidyne).. It's the upper bracket, on the passenger's side that'll have to be made.

Yep, they're on there good but it's not SO bad. Put some *** into is. You can probably put on a box wrench and smack it with a hammer is you don't have enough leverage. It's these that you have to cut. Look at the pictures with the arrows in the instructions. They go from big pieces to little. Little is after they're cut, so make them look like that. And no, no need to bend anything.. it'll fit fine. Just bolt it up like is in the instructions, and all will become clear.

OK now the new radiator is in =-) Now I have more ?'s There is a bracket that attaches to the top of the radiator, but I cant figure out what that bracket screws onto. Its the one that looks kinda like an L. So right now it is just bolted on to the radiator. I am about to go out and bend the AC lines towards the radiator. ANy tips on this I heard this was one of the hardest parts.

If it's the piece that's about 8" long and 5" wide and kind of "cut off", that bracket won't fit right.. because your radiator is thicker.. This is the piece that you'll have to re-engineer.

The AC lines are pretty strong. The best advice I can give you on them is to take your time. I used the closed end of large box wrenches for leverage. If I were to do this again, though, I might invest in a tube bender first.

where might you be able to pick up a tube bender? where did you bolt on that L bracket? Can you brake the AC lines if you arent carefull? Oh and in the Blitz kit there is red vacum hose where the hell does that go, and it looks like they give you another AC pipe wheres that go,or do you not have to use that stuff?

You can find them at various places.. home depot.. automotive stores...

I've still got the stock radiator in.. I ran into other space issues with the koyo.. but it bolted up like it should.. You can see a pic here if that helps.

The red "hose" is some wire that they suggest you lengthen the fan wires with.

The extra line is for the power steering line.. It will replace that long, curvy one that used to run in front of the radiator. You DID pull that out allready, didn't you?

Did you take any pics of your install. I need to see bracket locations and mounting. I don't have ANY instructions. If you can show me some pics or even send me some instructions it would be greatly appreciated. Blitz was very unhelpful when I tried to get some from them.

Thanks!
