CA New FD owner

I recently bought an FD with 136,000 miles. the engine has low compression and does not start. Owner told me it has a leak on one of the housings. I've been searching for ways to do this build. But can not find any housings for cheap if I want to replace. And it's very hard searching for oem interior and exterior parts that I need. Any help would be appreciated.

first off how do u kno that it has low compression. did the previous owner say it. if so u need to do ur own compression check that will determine where u are at. once u do that then u can proceed to the next step

The owner said he took it to Mazdatrix, or one of the local shops around oc. I don't know the actual readings, but they had told him it had low compression. Tomorrow I'm going to do all kinds of test on the car and probably go from their. By the way I'm looking to do this build the bet way possible. Probably do a 99 spec conversion. And getting the best possible power out of it while still being street legal.
