Do they make the LED version for the FC? Anyone got pics of them on the FC? I can't find them on the ganador site...

From the pics it looks like the shape of the FC versions are quite a bit different than the FD version.

On their website, as far as I can tell, the regular Super Mirror in fiberglass would be around $356. And with a GB around that or maybe even cheaper, I'm so in.

I'm still wondering though, what are the benefits, if any, to having blue mirrors instead of clear?

 

this may just be an assumption on my part, but i hope not. However, my Denali also has blue tinted "smart mirrors", in that when a bright light source comes into contact with them, they automatically dim a bit. Maybe these are the same. . .? Even if it doesn't have the auto dimmer, the blue would make the bright headlights less harsh since it's not a direct reflection of the light, but shaded a bit.

I already have a FG version and prefer to have a CF version..

 

I don't think so.. I have the FG version of Ganador with blue lens and its just tinted blue.. I have to double check as I haven't looked at it in 2 years.

I sure hope you're right. Cause if that's the case, I want blue tint. I'm sick of trucks aiming their headlights right into my mirrors...at least it seems like they're doing it on purpose, haha.

Yeah please let me know Phil. I might just go ahead and get it with that anyway. Just the possibility of the blue tint working like that is good enough for me, my current clear mirror setup is counterproductive to my eyesight, hahaha.

Oh yeah, if I get back in time to get the car built and working again, I WILL be at DGRR08! I have to make it one more time before I move out west.

Hey guys,

The mirrors come pre-tinted in the colors of your choice; they're not auto-dimming. So essentially they have a tint to them ALL the time...which is GOOD. If you've had to replace BMW auto-dimming sideview mirrors, your wallet will know WHY the auto-dimming mirrors are NOT the way to go =-/

Phil, they're most probably carbon fiber wrapped fiberglass. C'mon now, $400 will NOT get you a FULL, 100% CF ONLY mirror. If you want THAT, pony up and get the RE-Amemiya all CF mirrors for $800 large ones.

I wasn't asking if it was ALL carbon... I was asking if it was wrapped in real CF or CF like paint/sticker/whatever... but not real CF..

If its covered or wrapped in real CF, then I'm in Can you check that and let me know (in LED version?)

You are correct. They don't make the LED Super Mirrors in an FC3S application. They only have the regular Super Mirrors for the FC3S:

Doc and twomuchboost4u, please update the list w/ the exact name of which unit you're interested in (Super Mirrors or LED Super Mirrors).

Also, I'm assuming ALL the mirrors are for FD's unless otherwise stated (they can be for ANY car Ganador makes mirrors for).
