No problem. I've sent over $145.08 via paypal. Let me know how much extra shipping I owe you when you have them in hand and I'll send that over to you.

thanks,

These days, Ramy handles most of the items, but if the tow hooks came to me local pick up would be okay.

Hopefully this isn't too offtopic...

Has anyone run into trouble sourcing the factory rear tie down that is used to mount the FEED rear tow hook? Apparently the majority of the rear tie-downs were removed at port when the cars were imported (mine included). I called Trussville Mazda and Malone told me the part was discontinued...

Numbers for those tie-down hooks, at least on later cars....and can't imagine they would change over the series-

Front, FD01-56-221, FD01-56-231.

Rear, FD01-56-251B, FD01-56-252B.

Worth mentioning (may not apply in US though!), spec for track work over here is a tow hook with a minimum 40mm diameter eye. Those original ones from memory are basically a narrowish slot. May be OK for transport from Japan, but say a tow out of a gravel trap, you'd almost be assured of bodywork damage, front in particular because of their mounting position and resulting geometry of the tow line.

That's why everybody is buying these FEED tow hooks.

I couldn't get ahold of Ray today, but I'll try again tomorrow.

Ramy hasn't set a close date, I'm guessing because we need a minimum of 10 orders for a discount. So until that happens I wouldn't worry about the GB suddenly closing.

When that happens, what would the ETA be on the hooks?

Yup, Ray can get 'em for us.

Same part numbers as billyboy posted:

Factory rear tie downs: FD01-56-251B, FD01-56-252B

$24.51 each from Malloy (club price)

*edit* Thanks for letting me butt into this thread, I already have a set of tow hooks.

To mount the rear FEED tow hook you will need a driver's side factory rear tie down. For whatever reason, many cars had this rear tie down removed when they were imported to the USA. Ray said that there are driver and passenger side OEM tie downs available, the part numbers are listed above.

The OEM front tie downs are NOT required to mount the front FEED tow hook.

Just get the rear driver side. That is all you need.

I'll make payment this weekend - is it even possible to request for red hooks?
