Hopefully this isn't too offtopic...
Has anyone run into trouble sourcing the factory rear tie down that is used to mount the FEED rear tow hook? Apparently the majority of the rear tie-downs were removed at port when the cars were imported (mine included). I called Trussville Mazda and Malone told me the part was discontinued...

Numbers for those tie-down hooks, at least on later cars....and can't imagine they would change over the series-
Front, FD01-56-221, FD01-56-231.
Rear, FD01-56-251B, FD01-56-252B.
Worth mentioning (may not apply in US though!), spec for track work over here is a tow hook with a minimum 40mm diameter eye. Those original ones from memory are basically a narrowish slot. May be OK for transport from Japan, but say a tow out of a gravel trap, you'd almost be assured of bodywork damage, front in particular because of their mounting position and resulting geometry of the tow line.

I couldn't get ahold of Ray today, but I'll try again tomorrow.

Yup, Ray can get 'em for us.
Same part numbers as billyboy posted:
Factory rear tie downs: FD01-56-251B, FD01-56-252B
$24.51 each from Malloy (club price)
*edit* Thanks for letting me butt into this thread, I already have a set of tow hooks.

The OEM front tie downs are NOT required to mount the front FEED tow hook.
