Also wondering if the HID option is totally different projectors or just ballasts and bulbs? The question has been asked but I didn't see it answered.

Honestly, since most ppl aren't getting it w/ HIDs, I'm going to post up payment info for the regular kit, and once I get a few deposits and know this is going on for sure, I'll ask KS re: pricing for their HID kit, based on how many I need. Basically, I already asked 'em about 10 light kits, and I wanna make sure I don't look like an a$$ and not come through (they HATE flakes, as do I). So it's a delicate situation... I hope you understand

Oh and I'll be sure to ask about the projectors at the same time

Gene, sorry, no dice.

yeah im wondering the same... ive got the knightsport (rebadged headlights ) and a cheap-o non projector HID kit but ive yet to install it. i also have a set of M3 projectors which would look great mounted into these lenses, but theyre rather long and im having trouble with clearance so they might not work

That's why you just buy it all from KS!

It is really tough for me to commit without definate pricing which is always tough in these group buy situations. I would think since the HID add on 'option' is more than the cost of the whole standard kit, that it involves more than just bulbs and ballasts but I am just asking to be sure. Is there anyone I could call or contact to find out? That is pretty important information necessary to make the decision on whether or not to buy the HID...

When are deposits going to be collected? I sit on the fence until I see that there is enough interest and that people are starting to pay.

K, here's the update guys...

1) The regular headlight kit is designed for 4 H3/55w lights. The HID upgrade kit changes the low beam lights to HID, and comes with only 2 ballasts & bulbs. That's all.

2) I was able to get a discount on the HIDs, despite the small order.

Pricing took a hit because the exchange rate has been dropping significantly as of late...sorry. So pricing is as follows:

- Headlight kit: $625
- HID upgrade: $850

Shipping is TBD.

So with that, I'm gonna post payment info and start taking the orders.

Thanks,
~Ramy
