If there's enough interest, sure. See what interest you can generate, and get a list going in the thread...

Regular halogen is about $400
HID version is about $1000

Those are the regular/standard prices.

NP Phil

Oh and I can prob run a GB on either one or a mix of the two, since I'd be buying the lights themselves either way.

Since the lenses are used to cover these combos, I'm sure I can work that into the deal. But again, all of this is based on the level of interest. So I'd say get a list going of who's interested in what, and we'll go from there...

Oh and on a serious note, please don't put your name down unless you ACTUALLY ARE interested, AND are actually able to purchase the parts.

Thanks,
~Ramy

I'll take a pair of lense covers with the Hid kit, hopefully the group buy interest picks up. I'm going to buy a set either way.

Word on the street is, I dunno if *anyone* has actually purchased the halogen (non-HID) version and retrofitted their own HID system, and compared the two

What does it take to get this happening, do you know off the top of your head what the cost of just the acrylic lens is? (without me having to pay an inquiry fee)

I haven't decided what I'm doing about the whole fee issue, so relax, I'm not charging anyone for anything ATM

As for a price on the lens covers, they're about $250 for the pair.

That's alot more than I got quoted, and I thought the (deleted) quote was expensive fro a piece of Acrylic.

wptrx7, feel free to go with whoever you choose. That's the nature of free competition. Having said that, FEED did recently change their pricing on a BUNCH of their parts (they updated their website as of the new year). $150 was the old price that I used to offer them for.

Having said that, I'd be happy to try and pricematch any other company's advertised price - but make sure you take into account the S&H cost they usually conceal - which is where their price hike is usually hidden

Lastly, please note this is a private (paid for) subforum of FDNewbie Imports, so no mention of competing companies is allowed.

Thanks,
~Ramy
