Thanks

This is wrong. It is NOT an adjustment issue. OE Euro-headlights are different, depending on which side of the road that country drives on. In short, if you want E-code lights, you need to get one for European countries that drive on the left (e.g., Germany) like us in the USA.

Would people here be willing to have the guys (if they would be willing) order each of the different lenses both here and on ebay and test them to see what kind of dispersion, refraction and optics can come out of the lenses with the HID kits that are available? And of course just add it to the GB tab.

Those are the big questions that I see, is what are they going to look like in comparison to everything else out there.

It seems like a waste if they don’t produce the kind of lighting we all HOPE they will.

From reading HID BBs the guys there seem to feel that HID retrofit bulbs or PnP (plug n play) kits are a waste of money and time, as well as being bad news for the drivers having to be blinded by the glare and bad optics.

Would people here be interested in proven solution rather than hoping for this to work out?

I am sick of the stock lighting and have been avoiding the issue as there really hasn’t seemed to be any good solution yet.

This seems to be a good place if your interested in the topic: http://hidplanet.com/forums/index.php

Ultimately this is what we are really hoping for

You are 100% correct, from reading this thread, I'm not confident that these housing are specifically made for HID, let alone for a LHD country like us in the USA, vs. Japan which is a RHD country like the United Kingdom.

IMHO, the best bang for the stock pop-ups are the E-code/euro assemblies for Germany (Corksport has them) with a pair of Narva 130/110 H4's and a relay wiring harness for no voltage drop.

Inserting HID bulbs into a reflector designed for H4's is just plain wrong.

Although I've already sent payment in, is there any thread that gives any information about whether or not the e-spec lense is any better than our crappy unit and light dispersion?

Neil, while I appreciate your comments, and a discussion would be great, I'd appreciate keeping it out of the GB thread. The thread's for carrying out the GB only, not discussion, debate, or gathering interest

Thanks
