I have not been following this, but did the lenses come in? I also read that the tracking numbers were given out. If so let me know because I did not receive anything regarding the lenses I purchased.

Read the past few pages and you'll be caught up.

I missed the ground deadline Friday so those who've paid shipping will have their orders go out Monday morning.

Those Japanese instructions aren't going to be much help.

so now that i have them in my hands im convinced they are the exact same ones as the ebay lights.... only in wisesports packaging and at 3x the cost. oh well.

also, does anyone know what will happen if i remove the metal shroud inside? i have a set of HID which seem to have their own shroud. maybe this is what determines the focal areas of the lights... ie RHD beam pattern or LHD beam pattern etc. (or maybe thats just a wild guess) anyone know? -heath

Why would you need instructions? They're just lenses.

I don't know about the ones that came in this group buy, but I've installed HIDs before and no instructions were needed.

It looks pretty straight forward but when you open the pamphlet and see nothing but hieroglyphics, you know it won't be any help.

Gene and Rotormotor,

What are you basing it on that these are the e-bay light? Is it from comparing them to the ones I posted? Just curious what the standard is your using.

I got them last week, but just pulled in from out to sea today, and just got to norcal (a 7 hour drive today) and I havent seen the lights yet, since I'm hiding until my wife gets home, BUT my wife sent me pictures to my email when I was out to sea and they look awesome. I don't care if ebay lense or not (one of the guys that got HID), I'm just happy to have them. Hopefully I can install them this weekend before I go back to San Diego.

-Jeff

P.S. Thanks Ramy and Jason!

I'm hoping for SOME REASON these lenses will fit better than what Tim said how the ebay ones fitted. So, Tim install yours please and see if they miraculously fit better than the other ebay with the same part numbers haha! Regardless it looks a lot better than the old lenses. I just hope I will be able to align mine correctly.

Well, I'm going to hook up the lights first, and then later try out the lenses. I might run two different housing on sunday night to see the difference. So tomorrow I'll just install the HID. Here is what came with mine. All plug and play with no splicing at all. Everything is there, even the battery terminal wires which have fuses in the positive wires. The positive wires are orange, and the negative terminal wires are black. The positive wires have been joined into one, and the negative ones have two separate, but I think you still but them in the same spot. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. Here are some pictures.

All wires mocked up with components and bulbs excluding the housings

Passenger Side

Driver Side

Control Unit and terminal wires

Positive Terminal Wires

Negative Terminal Wires

Lenses *I'm not sure if we're suppose to take the shield out since the bulbs come with their own. Can someone chime in on this who have installed HIDs on the ebay lights!

BTW the HIDs come with 6000K bulbs. It looks like the kit comes with everything. Even zip ties and extra screws and bolts for the control unit and more. It also comes with double sided tape. AWESOME! I don't care if the lenses end up bieng crappy. I feel I got a good deal on the HIDs. Looks to be very good quality. Allows for the cleanest install, since it has those plastic things surrounding the wires, and you won't have to cut anything.

The lenses fit awesome, and it was dead on in the right position as stock. I don't know about the beam just yet though. We'll find out tonight but here is a finished photo.
