Dale is referring to the specific serial number on the back of the PFC that is used to identify PFCs that work with our years for the US (92-95):

93VRTouring was referring to the way Australians classify RX7s where 92-95 is a series 6 or S6. He was not drawing any relation between the year of the RX7 and the serial number on the back of the PFC.

To make it simple for everyone, if your RX7 is 92-95 that's the one we're ordering. If you're outside the US and have a different year we may still be able to help you out, just be sure to mention that in the PM you send me .

If any of you get in on the group buy with a UK, Australia, whatever FD that's a later model year, I bet Ramy can get the correct PowerFC for your car as well. There are 2 more revisions of the PowerFC - one for the '96-98 cars, and another for the '99-02 cars.

ALL new PowerFC's come with the 5.08 internal version with the "base mod" map. You can't buy one of the old ones any more. So, if you get one on this group buy, you'll get the new, latest model with the much better base mod map.

This is all outlined in my PowerFC FAQ - if you're not sure which one you should get, read it up here -
http://www.clubrx.org/media/pfc/PowerFC_FAQ.pdf
Dale's right on the money.

Apexi Japan started bundling the PFC and commander together. They come in one box now, and you can't buy them separately. One poster mentioned he didn't need the commander - you can easily sell just the commander for about $100-150 to someone with a broken commander, or someone wanting a spare one to take apart to mold in the dash or something. But, the commander is really useful to have, even with a datalogit.
He's correct again, but just a quite note; I CAN get the commanders separately, but I'll need the serial # off of the ECU, as the commanders are NOT universal.

I've had my PowerFC for some time now, and EVERY FD should have one. Hands down the best mod I've put on my car. Not only does it make the car run better than stock, you have the flexibility to safely add quite a few mods on the base map, and have the tuning capability to do whatever you'd like.

Dale

Exclamation Using Paypal E-Check Option

I know there are a couple people that haven't used the paypal e-check option before so here's a quick tutorial:

Start it out like any other paypal transaction (of course you'll be sending payment to payments@fdnewbieimports.com)

When you get to the "Check Payment Details" screen click "More Funding Options"

Then click the e-check option and choose the bank account you want the money to come out of.

Then finish it off like every other paypal transaction.

What do you expect hitting us with this news right before Christmas? Haha

Seriously, I appreciate the reply to my pm. I really think if more companies really cared about the service they are providing their customers; they would do this all the time.

Maybe. Ramy (in Virginia) normally handles distribution. I can answer that question later on once we're close to the end of the GB.

Yep.

Thanks for the support guys.

I'll leave the question of paying Ramy in person up to him, the issue of local pick up is addressed above.

Yep, send Ramy an email at info@FDNewbieImports.com with your request.

GB is going to close Friday 12/8 11:59 pm PST, we must have a pending payment by this date and mailed payments must be post marked no later then Wednesday. Ramy wants to get rolling on this since stock isn't guaranteed. He may run a second GB after this if there is stock available.
