Okay guys, NRG screwed up. They don't make the chrome 1/2 pressure (the aftermarket version) anymore. You have the option of switching to CF 1/2 pressure, or receiving an additional $10 off. Switching will involve us returning the current order for a new one so we're looking at more processing time for that.
FWIW I saw both versions and the stock version comes with an extra piece to increase the length of the damper about 2 inches. In other words it looks like it's not really a reduced pressure, but changing the leverage of the damper on the hood. So the stock version may work fine on your aftermarket hood.
Let me know what you guys want me to do.
eo2am, I'll be sending your order out ASAP.

I personally am not in any major rush for this, so I dont mind changing it for the CF one. But if the stock will work, without causing any harm to the hood (especially if Ramy gets me that R-Spec Hood) then I'll stick with the one they shipped to make things easier on you guys.

Thanks Jason!

Of course they're slow...no manufacturer wants to pay for return shipping on an order they screwed up, AND forward shipping of the correct parts to complete the order... I'm pushing 'em, so it'll get done, but they're undoubtedly going to drag their feet on it.
