BTW, I wouldn't go crazy wanting the USB option. I borrowed a brand-new Datalogit from a friend yesterday with the USB option - it's the plain serial Datalogit with a CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP USB to serial converter. Like a few bucks on Ebay. I'd get the regular one and get a serial to USB converter on my own if I was you guys.

. I've been needing to get my own for a while, and this is a good excuse

. Plain serial version, of course.

That's a USB to serial adapter that's IDENTICAL to the one that came with the Datalogit, buy it now for $2.99. The Datalogit folks want TWENTY BUCKS for that adapter. Yeah, no thanks.

Con, trust me, I got your inquiry the first time

I'm double checking and working out some details to make sure it is compatible. I didn't quite understand the reply I got, so I'm waiting on a clarification. So bear w/ me plz. I haven't forgotten about you

For everyone else, the USB connection is currently NOT guaranteed, as the supplier keeps saying "2 more weeks" after 2 weeks pass. I don't want to hold up anyone, so you may actually want to go through the Newegg supplier posted earlier in this thread if you definitely want the USB connection. All units will come with the serial port connection, however.

raiden, we already have more than enough buyers. At this point, I want to finalize pricing and get the GB going soon

I also have to figure out what the shipping cost will be, as the lot would be shipped to me (and that cost I have to cover), then shipped to each of you individually (which also has to be covered). But it shouldn't be much, given the large # of ppl int he GB

So worry not; pricing and details to get the GB rolling and accepting payments will be available VERY soon!
