Whats new???

Whats new with everyone?

The far east section is getting a bit dull again.

Did everyone have a good Obon holiday?

I was able to lovate an old school Mazdaspeed suede wrapped steering wheel and an infini horn button. So I am now using that to control the car, although with no license I do not get out ot doing that to much hahaha.

I went down to my friends beach house in Chiba a couple times which was cool and there are some great roads down in Chiba!!! The 297 had some real cool twisties and scenery.

I took a couple trips up to Mt. Tsukuba which is always a blast.

I went with a friend to do break in on an FD we just rebuilt the engine for. That was long and boring at times but now that break in is all done the fun can begin.
This week we will do setting and then next week we are off to Honjo circuit for some drifting and final settings.

I was able to see Transformers (GREAT), Oceans 13 (also great), and Die Hard 4 (also good).

In all I had a good holiday. Now it is back to work and so while at work I need some entertainment... SO START POSTING UP IN HERE GUYS!!!

I went white water rafting in the Yoshinogawa river in Shikoku which was an absolute blast!

I realised that Shikoku is probably the most beautiful place in Japan, the water is so clear and blue. I took the train this time, but next time im definitely going to drive. Anyone wana organise a cruise there?

You sound like you drive alot, i personally rarely drive the FD, maybe once a week. Basically i find it quite uncomfortable in the heat to sit in the FD, i also worry about the engine heating up with the high temps. Plus im not keen on doing too many kilometers in the car.

Does anyone know where i can get a cheap AST from?

Went to Ebisu Circuit yesturda. Minami course was only open for D1 drivers practice which is why I went with a friend who is driving this weekend and needed practice. It was amazing. We were there from 8am to 12:30 and there was only 4 cars there one of which left after 20 minutes of running and setting up suspension. This was the Team orange Evo which i just heard is actually the owner or Ebisu`s son or something along those lines which explains the short amount of run time since he can do it whenever he likes. Anyhow the 4 hours we were there there was only about 3 times for about 5 minutes each that 3 cars were on the track together!!!

Anyhow here is a link to an Amemiya AST on Yahoo auction
Goodluck!
