Need shipping advice Japan to US
Well to make a long story short I am in Japan with my wife visiting her parents, and getting wedding plans finalized. Last night we met up with some of her friends, one of which used to drive a FD, but wrecked it in november. He has a set of recaro seats he wants to just give me - for free.
I am trying to weigh my options on how to ship it. I am staying at the in-laws house, in the chiba prefecture (about one and a half hours from narita airport). I am not sure what the cheapest way to ship back to Las Vegas woud be.
One of my buddies brother is in the navy, stationed in okinawa. i though i could maybe ship it there, and have him ship it through the military, but i figured doing that would probably cost as much as shipping it directly.
any advice would help..!
maybe circuit theory can let me hitch a ride in one of his containers for a small fee :p

Best way is to mail them using Japanese shipping service.
They are most likely too big to ship through the post office on base anyway.
Or if you know someone moving from Japan back to the states you could have them put it in their household goods.
