The Mazda tour of Japan

Hi all.

We are a group of friends from Europe who are planning a trip to Japan the coming winter.

We are planning to maybe go to the TAS in January, and also go to Hiroshima (-of course), and other mazda/car life events.

I heard about a rotary meeting also happening in January. Could someone verify if this is true, and provide some more info?

If you have any input such as travelling route, planning, the "do and do not's", etc. please post.

I look forward to your reply.

There is a 7 meeting in Late december. The last time attack event is in early/ mid december.
There are not many drift events during Dec. Jan. or Feb.

Hiroshima would be a good place to visit as well as some mazda tuning shops. I am not sure where mazdaspeed R&D is but that would be a nice place to visit.

There is a 7s Day every 7/7 in Daikoku Futo JP, of course the January events: Auto Salon & TAS in Makuhari Messe, and BE-Circuit Time Attack in Tsukuba...tons of other gnarly stuff happening other months too.

Hi.

Thanks for posting. Do you have any links or more info on these events. I already got the TAS covered, but the other events??

I appreciate all your information. I am sure we will have a blast in Japan!

Hi.

Thank you for your post.

Hiroshima is a GO. Factory visit, Mazda museum and the war museum.

I will look for the Mazdaspeed R&D - it's a good tip for a stop. Do you have an adress for them?

Keep the postings coming. Details, links etc is appreciated. In reward we'll provide a report of the whole trip on the forum if you like.
