It is a fuel cut defencer. It stops your computer from leaning your engine out a high rpm.

Your turbos or computer itself has to be doing that for you.

buy a power fc.

Hi!

I had bought an pfc I noticed the knightsport fdfc was there when i removed my old ecu =) I got the car from Japan... didnt know it had it. I got one problem with my car ... the car revs up and down from 900-1500rpm with old ecu and with pfc Ive changed my sparkplugs, oil, thermostat . Any one who know whats making it so unstable? My mods are pfc, open airfilter, catback 1994 R2 24000km. Car boost perfekt and runs great! And the idle changes when i put on a/c or light's.

im no expert, but i am an electrician. could be an earthing problem judging by the way it tends to change as you play with the electrics. check all your main earthing points. there's a list somewhere on here
