Just thougth I'd introduce myself. Name is Jason, and I've been stationed at Misawa Air Base since December of 2003. I'll be there until dec of 2008.
Just wrecked my 91 BNR32 before I came to the desert 2 months ago. Still have 4 months left before I return to Japan. Came across a great deal on a 93 R1, so I had to pick it up. I was raised driving on the snow in a RWD platform, so it shouldn't be too bad. Just wish there were more FD owners in Misawa. I think I'm currently the only GI on base with an FD. A civillian brought a black FD up here when he transfered from Okinawa, but it's gone now.

 

wow, it must be freeeezing over there right about now.

 

It snowed in Misawa for the first time the other day, but over here in the desert it's still upper 90's everyday. Great time of the year to be deployed
