I'd like to make an undertray for my aftermarket front bumper, and some wheel well finishers that would mate the fender liner to the undertray. I've worked with ABS plastic some before but with parts I had ordered. It molds pretty easy with a heat gun and some patience.

However, I don't know where to buy a big sheet of -say- 2mm thick ABS that's big enough to cut out an undertray shape.

Where do you guys buy yours from?

quick google search.. dunno if this is what u want but apparentlly they have large 48x96 sheets. hopefully this will point you in the right direction.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for, but was hoping someone knew where they could be bought from a local brick & mortar building.

I'm not sure 48x24 will be big enough in all dimensions. The bigger sheets have to freight shipped and that kinda takes the savings from DIY out of it as I could buy a pre-made generic one from shineauto for ~$180 or so. The bad part is that it's FRP, and I'd like something a little more crack-resistant.

I buy most of my machinable plastic from Piedmont Plastics here in Knox. They have loads of different types. Prices are fair & the sales crew are good people to deal with.
1-800-331-7898. They have outlets all over the US. You can tell them what you need & if they don`t have it at one location, they can drop ship it from another.
