Roll Cage, last decision between race vs street?

Hello everyone once again. If I may borrow a bit of advice from fellow people and their experience with roll cages. I've decided to go with a chrome-molly 8point cage for the lightness and also keep it scca approved. My question is, with modern FIA high absorbent padding, how safe will this be on the street?

I've read Classics earlier post on this matter, saying he used SFI padding on his roll cages, and both are streetable, Right? I know it probably won't be as safe as before, I just dun't want to wreck with the high probability of waking up 30 years later.. or worse.

Now my rx is not ment for daily driving, I'm just talking about joy cruises but also ment for the track. It would hurt me not to be able to drive it on the street again~

Thanks for any words of wisdom.
