A Project I may actually Finish - Master Cylinder Brace

It seems like I never manage to finish project for my own cars. Thankfully this one if fairly simple

I need to do some brake work on my S5 and as port of the upgrades I want a brace for the master cylinder.

CAD work is done. I've cut out the shape on paper and am happy with the fitment. It bolts to the strut tower using two existing bolt holes. Next step is to do the programming for the CNC mill.

Still need to add the adjuster and order the right hardware, but all in all it's turned out well. Hopefully I can finish it up later today.

Finished this the other day. I actually ended up making 4 in total due to the size of the block of aluminum so I'm going to send a couple out for anodizing.

If I put them into production I'm estimating around $95 shipped. For the 3 extras I have right now I'll let them go for a fair bit less then that.

Id buy one for sure. When you anodize them will they remain natural aluminum or are you getting them in a different color?

For my own car I think I want red. I could do 2 in red and 2 clear.

Prototypes are off for anodizing. Should have them back and assembled near the end of the week.

Prototypes are back from the anodizers and I picked up the stainless hardware. I need to track down a local S4 just to make sure the mounting holes are the same as the S5.

They prevent the firewall from flexing when you brake hard. This results in a firmer pedal feel and more accurate braking.
