Cage around sparco circuit pro

My question is fairly simple. Has anyone with a sparco circuit pro built a cage around this seat in the FD? It seems the clearances are very tight with the seat to begin with in the FD but nearly impossible with a cage.

Any thoughts?

Here are some pictures. Seat is not mounted yet.

Can you drop the seat by removing the stock mounting bumps? The main hoop isn't a problem, just move it back. The side bars going across the top of the door window are the problem.

I've thought about cutting the stock mounting plates and fabricating custom plates. The side bars will be the worst part.

I might have to sell the seat & go with another.
