I'm giving consideration to buying an FD from the US purely to get the engine & transmission from it. What is a LHD FD worth? ideally without engine and box, but dare say we could stick a standard 13B and gearbox in one if it made financial sense.

US/EU spec cars are usually a lot more expensive than JDM spec cars imported to UK.....sometimes 10 times more expensive....

 

Yes, I've owned 2 jap import FDs, and the running gear will no doubt be moved into a 3rd one. It just happens to be a US car that is in near enough the exact spec I'm after, and I wont get one from Japan in this spec.

I've been PM'd a price for a LHD car without engine, so have a number to start from
