Project dashboard (racecar)
Hy Oliver,
No idea, they had just arrived at noon and I went back at 3.30pm and they were already gone. No idea if that is good or bad. Only thing I know is they had to drive to Franchorchamps as well because the car had to be approved by technical inspection by FIA.
I hope my wing parts where acc regulations.. :-S
I will mail them for ino tonight and I'll post what's new.
THx ;-)

Update:
Last weekend there was the opening race at Spa-Franchorchamps for Belcar.
The RX7 finished in 24th place in total, don't know exactly in GTB.
I noticed they totally misdrilled the holes in the spoiler ends I fabbed up for them.
Enyhew... here are some pictures... looks quite good I think

Very nice job!! I do carbon fabrication over here in the states. I always like to see what race car techs are working on. Its alot harder than people would think. I know you are in Belgium but do you know Ian (carbonman) did work on the Mazda Australia FD. SP-7 I think?

Thanks, I visited your website many times before. I do know of the SP-7 guy but never contacted him. He does some really great stuff.
I understand you do a lot of overlay pieces, no? Do you use vacuum bagging or is just wet hand lay-up with a good amount of varnish?
The dashboar was a pretty hard nut to crack because of all the bends in the piece. The mould was made right of the OEm dashboard and some extra plastic parts to reach it's final form.
Initially it was meant to be in carbon but neither the material cost nor the final result with this mould would have justified using this material.
If you like to exchange experiences or tips and tricks, I would be glad to do so. Always prepared to learn
