Nurburgring Easter 2006

Anyone going to the ring easter 2006? I'm going over with a modified classic car crowd and was wondering if anyone else was doing the same?

Cool. If we could get a few more people going. Don't suppose you know any uk clubs as they all seem pretty inactive or FD only going over?

Indeed we will, probably three or four FD's.

Be warned - it's very busy these days. Hope you enjoy queues!!

Last trip out, there was a guy with an FC from the UK. Not seen any 1st gens in the car park yet.

I was there last month driving my 626 on the track. I have bought another FD to take to the ring easter 2006. Just have to make some BPU mods to it this winter.

I dont dare taking my 500+Hp LHD FD down there. Better to crash a RHD, those are easy to find.

Yea I would also like to know when this is (I thought Easter was last weekend??). I finally got my FC registered (with temp plates anyway) and I should get my new tires next week around wensday. I would very much like to go if for nothing else just to check it out. I'm not feelin like kissin the guard rail within the first month I have my car, but I would like to drive it (the ring) just to say I have. Hey...AF1...Am I to understand that you work at the place in Ramstein where you get your car inspected? And if so, when do you work because I would rather a fellow rotary head inspect my car than some joe off the street. I'm not asking for anything special it's just that you obviously know a little about FC's and it would be cool to meet you in person.

wow, so I clicked on the wrong forum... hi from canada!

When I clicked on this thread I thought it was going to be a GT4 challenge or something.. you guys are SO lucky over there! man, what I would give to be able to take my car for a few laps around the 'ring. I should go over there and rent an rx8 or something. I must do that one day.

Neat seeing a fullsize dodge pickup with european plates, I must say I didn't expect to see that.. are there lots over there?
